The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill an Administrative Assistant role in the Covina, CA area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the President & CEO. This position requires the ability to anticipate needs and think critically with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality and in a manner that serves as a positive reflection of the Bank. Additionally, the position requires the ability to provide solutions that facilitate the CEO’s ability to lead the Bank effectively. (This is not a remote position).

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Organize calendars and schedules for the President & CEO and any major events of the Bank.
  • Manage sensitive business and personal matters with a high level of confidentiality and
  • discretion.
  • Manage Human Resources responsibilities that include: maintaining Human Resource Policies,
  • process timekeeping of all staff, and process staff payroll matters.
  • Serve as the gatekeeper between internal colleagues, public, customer, and the President & CEO.
  • Responsive to all emails and phone calls.
  • Draft correspondence on behalf of the President & CEO.
  • Provide and manage reports as needed.
  • Process expense reports.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

  • Two years of experience in any administrative assistant positions.
  • Bachelors degree is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
